Social Development department reiterates commitment to enhancing SASSA services

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and determination to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services throughout an engagement while using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of the registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
